Mª Del Carmen Miranda Cid, del servicio de Pediatría, ha participado en el artículo “Spanish National Registry of Paediatric Coeliac Disease: Changes in the Clinical Presentation in the 21st Century”, publicado en la revista Journal of pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition.
En las últimas décadas, ha habido una tendencia hacia el predominio de formas menos sintomáticas de enfermedad celíaca (EC) y un aumento en la edad del paciente al momento del diagnóstico. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar la presentación clínica y el proceso diagnóstico de la EC pediátrica en España.
