Cristina Güemes de la Iglesia, del Servicio de Urgencias, ha participado en el estudio “Predictive usefulness of qSOFA, NEWS and GYM scores in the elderly patient: EDEN-5 study“, publicado en la revista Enfermedades Infecciosas y Microbiología Clínica.
El objetico de este estudio fue analizar la capacidad predictiva de mortalidad de las principales escalas pronósticas (NEWS,qSOFA, GYM) empleadas en los servicios de urgencias hospitalarios (SUH) en pacientes ancianos que acuden por procesos infecciosos.
